3. The particle size of flake graphite is smaller than that of expandable graphite
Flake graphite is generally processed with a finer particle size, while expandable graphite has a coarser particle size. Due to the expansion function of expandable graphite, the coarser particle size promotes its expansion, resulting in a coarser particle size of expandable graphite.
